Body Landscapes 222 is a photo series which meditates on the devouring nature of love, lust, and yearning. As intimacy deepens between oneself and another, The Self, as a fixed whole, dissolves. This series situates itself at an intersection between photography, film, and performance art; utilizing long-exposure photography to depict the symbiotic experience of enmeshment. Bodies intertwine and melt into each other, creating abstracted landscapes and capturing the ethereal sensation of falling in love—or being devoured by lust and longing.
